At Codecademy, we needed to refresh our creative ad mix. Halloween was around the corner. So we came up with a seasonal concept: learning to code doesn't have to be scary - Codecademy makes it easy.

We wanted to use this opportunity to showcase our product's solution to specific industry pain points in a thumb-stopping, fun way. Each of the three videos highlights a common pain point of learning to code, through the lens of a classic horror movie. Through a combination of tongue-in-cheek humor and striking visuals, we got the message across in a refreshingly clear yet memorable way.
